Completion: Complex scheduled to open 2010.  Hotel opens 2011.

Summary: A historic development for Esfahan, the city center will include a shopping mall, amusement park, multiple 30+ story international finance center, a 29 story 5 star hotel, three office towers, cinema and fair complexes, and more.

Additional Notes:

-Built on the edge of town over an area of 150,000 square meters.

-The complex will encompass a whopping 6.5 million square meters.

Summary: With a population of 1.6 million inhabitants and growing, Esfahan will soon be home to a new metro system connecting the city to various suburbs.
